The building is an attractive, 18th century character Cottage with exposed beams, which has been sympathetically modernized and decorated. The Cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. It is comfortably furnished, carpeted, and well equipped and in winter it is heated throughout. There is a wood burning fire in the sitting room and a free supply of wood available throughout the year.
To the front of the Cottage is a small walled flower garden and to the rear is a private garden with lawn, shrubs, picnic table, and benches.
Car parking is available immediately outside at the front of the property.
The Cottage is independently inspected annually by the English Tourism Council and is currently classified by them as **** (Four Stars).
Local Area DetailsSteeple Ashton is a very pleasant picturesque village which has frequently won the 'Best Kept Village Competition.' It has an exceptionally large medieval church, a village green, and a host of ancient buildings.
