From the doorstep there are miles of forest tracks and country lanes for walkers and cyclists. Locally we have pony trekking, golf and fishing whilst being ideally situated to explore Northumberland, Durham and the Scottish Borders.
A small shop, post office and two pubs serving food (one with an excellent adventure playground) are within 1½ miles of the cottage.
