Chalet Soleil in a new Chalet built in a small resort ideal for families. The chalet has 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double bedroom sleeping 6 very comfortably (NO SOFABEDS!!) The middle floor houses the living room,Dinning room and Kitchen (Open plan) and a shower room. The basement has a large family room and laundry. Local Area DetailsWINTER
A short drive gets you to the ardent lift and from there you are in the middle of the Portes du Soleil ski area which has 650 km of pistes and allows you to ski in France and Switzerland. The resorts of Morzine, Chatel, Avoriaz and Les Gets are all part of this huge ski area and covered by the same lift pass.
SUMMER
The area is great for mountain walks, white water rafting, canoeing and mountain biking. There are local lakes with swimming areas and local stables with pony treking in the mountains.
Close by is lake Geneva (Lac Leman) with it's spa towns of Evian and Thonon les Bains. Throughout the area there are numerous places to visit including Chateaux, historic Abbies and Monasties.
