Enjoy the serene atmosphere of this 2 level, 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home which is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Burnsville. "The Mt. Winter Star Cabin" can easily accommodate up to 6 guests. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower. There are 2 bedrooms on the upper level and one on the lower level. The master bedroom on the upper level has a full size bed. The second upper level bedroom has a full size hideaway sofa bed and the lower level third bedroom has 2 twin beds. The lower level bedroom is accessible by an outside native rock staircase. This bedroom is a perfect place for the children to have their own private getaway plus they will have a small covered patio which has a view of the mountains. I provide all bed and bath linens.

This mountain home along with being private, also has a gorgeous long distance view of the mountains, cable TV, VCR/DVD/CD player, washer/dryer, propane heating and a large rear deck for outside dining which affords you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of these beautiful mountains. There is a rear covered porch on the upper level which is accessible from the living room or the deck. A gas grill is provided on this porch for your use. "Mt. Winter Star Cabin" has a deep well with refreshing crystal clear ice cold mountain water.

Do as little or as much as you desire as this cabin is a perfect base location for North Carolina explorations. Snow skiing is just 40 minutes away at Wolf Laurel Ski Lodge. If hiking or mountain biking is what you came here for then just step out the front door and go in either direction. Mt. Winter Star Road eventually turns into a hiking trail which meanders through the mountains for miles.
