Local Area DetailsThe house is located in West Greenwich adjacent to Royal Hill and just 5 mins walk to the shops and royal park.
Greenwich is a UNESCO world heritage site enjoying unrivalled tourism attractions in its own right, including: a 40 acre Royal park, a royal palace (occupied by Henry XVI and Queen Elizabeth I), a Naval College built by Sir Christopher Wren on the site of the palace of plancentia, the National Maritime Musuem, the Royal Observaory and planetarium, the Cutty Sark, and a variety of indoor and outdoor market and the chance to walk along the Thames embankment.
The town centre has a lively buzz with plenty of quaint friendly bars and good quality restaurants. Live music is available in a number of New York speakeasy style venues. Greenwich has its own comedy store - UptheCreek.
Greenwich is also uniquely located for the excellent transport links it offers to Canary Wharf and the theatres in the West End of London which can be reached by overland rail, docklands light rail, boat taxi, bus and car. The journey time to Canary Wharf is 5 mins by light rail and to the West End is less than 20 minutes.
