PISO FELIZ
Welcome to our fantastic 1st floor apartment which is beautifully furnished with lots of little extras to make you feel at home.

The fantastic Roda Golf and Beach Resort is superbly situated for both golfing breaks & family holidays. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the golf course and new club house and within a few minutes drive of Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor beaches, which are gently shelving and really safe for kids.

As well as all the fantastic on-site golf and swimming facilities there is a beach club on the Mar Menor (open June - September) where you can be active and swim in the pool or the sea, go sailing or just relax and make use of the luxury spa facilities (entrance fee payable).

The stylishly furnished apartment has full air conditioning, full central heating and electric security grills.
In the lounge, there is a 32" flat screen TV with satellite system plus a DVD player and hi-fi with a small selcetion of DVDs and CDs for a quiet night in.

There's a fantastic southerly facing terrace where you can relax in the sun or shade all day. Why not start the day with breakfast in the sun at out large teak table or dine dine al fresco in the evening. At the end of the day it is the ideal place to put your feet up, maybe read a good book, have a glass of wine (or two) and generally relax as the sun goes down.

Sleeps 6 comfortably: the master bedroom has a large king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and access to the private balcony overlooking the pool: bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds with easy access to the separate shower room.

ITS OUR HOLIDAY HOME TOO so weve added lots of of things that you wouldnt normally expect to find in a holiday let. We have even put in safety equipment.

Not only is it great for golf, it's great for kids and great for just relaxing.

ABOUT RODA GOLF RESORT
Roda Golf and Beach Resort is a great place - not just for golfers but for non-playing partners and kids too! Onsite, there are pools everywhere with fantastic gardens around them where you can sunbathe, read a book or just relax. There are plenty of kid's playgrounds, plus the newly built tennis, paddle tennis and basketball courts. There is also a mini market on site where you can buy essential food items, drinks, magazines and newspapers.

The Clubhouse is an impressive building, built on two levels with immediate visual impact. Stunning water feature and outdoor marble staircase lead to the terrace that has great views over the golf course. The restaurant serves excellent food, with discounts for guests, and there are also tapas and snacks available from the bar. Whichever you choose, you can eat inside or outside at any time of year. The building has a modern design and its comfortable surroundings will make sure it becomes a second home for visitors, and a place where people can meet, relax and enjoy themselves . . . whether you play golf or not.

The beach club on La Manga del Mar Menor certainly has the "wow" factor. The stunning building boasts swimming pool, jacuzzi and solarium plus direct access to the Mediterranean beach where you can try the water sports. Eat gourmet food in the restaurant or simple snacks from the pool bar. The views from the upstairs relaxation area are quite spectacular. It is just such a great place to relax away from the swimming pool and bar area and just enjoy a quiet, intimate cocktail, whilst looking over the over the Mediterranean sea. With toys for the children to keep them occupied and lifeguards by the pool to keep them safe, you can just chill out.

The prices quoted above are for up to 6 people and include:

• Departure cleaning charge - €75
• Scheduled arrivals after 21:00 - €30
• 6th person on sofa bed - €15 for extra laundry

RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure the apartment for your chosen dates.
The balance is due 8 weeks before travel. If travel is within 10 weeks of booking the full amount is required to be paid..

SECURITY BOND:
£200 security bond required on booking. Refunded within 15 days of your departure (subject to inspection) once the keys have been safely returned to us, and assuming no damage has been caused to the apartment.

PAYMENT:
Our primary method of payment is by Bank Transfer. However, for convenience, payment can be made by Credit/Debit card using PayPal (subject to fee).

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE:
The property is available from 17:00 hours on arrival and should be vacated by 12:00 hours on the day of departure (local time) - although we will try to accommodate earlier arrivals and late departures where possible.

Local Area Details

Roda is not just for the golfer .....
Just 2 km from the unique natural setting of warm, shallow waters of The Mar Menor, the largest natural seawater lagoon in Europe.

The setting of the Costa Calida and Mar Menor is truly incredible, with more than 253 Km of Mediterranean beach, around 320 days of sunshine per year enjoying annual average temperatures of around 21ºc and ideal for a relaxing holiday year round. Its an enclosed lagoon with no dangerous currents making the water safe for children of any age. The beaches are great - clean and sandy and many have the prestigious "Blue Flag" award with lifeguards in the Summer. There are so many miles of beach that you can always find a quiet spot, even in August.

LOS ALCAZARES
Just 2 km away with a range of shops, bars & restaurants. The promenade stretches for 8km, and are dotted with "chiringuitos" - bars selling a variety of Tapas dishes, refreshments & local beer!

LOS NAREJOS
The nearest beach - just 2 km from the resort. Gently shelving and really safe for kids. Apart from the height of Summer, the beach is usually quiet. The beach bars serve reasonably priced tapas, snacks and burgers. Start from here to walk the promenade all the way to the Yacht Club at the other end of Los Alcazares.

SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA
The fishing village of Santiago de la Ribera is just 10 minutes drive away. It grew as a prime holiday destination for wealthy Murcians who built their houses along the coast. It boasts a popular water-sports centre and sailing club so with its superb safe beaches, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, a sports centre, and scuba diving it's a great place to visit

LO PAGAN
A visit is a must to take in the famous mud baths which has been renowned from early times for its healing powers. Get dirty ... by applying the mud all over the body and then dry out in the sun before washing off in the salt waters. The kids will love it!

LOCAL ACTIVITIES:
The Mar Menor and Los Alcazares area offer a wide variety of things to do. Sport, water sport, fine dining and shopping and more . . .

BEACHES AND WATER SPORT
Soft sandy beaches of the Mar Menor with numerous children’s play areas on the sand, coupled with the calm waters of the Mar Menor make it ideal both for children and for the extensive water sports that are on offer here. These include Jet skiing, wind surfing, sailing, fishing, snorkelling, and scuba diving. The area is great for children and many of the beaches have been deservedly awarded the blue flag.

SCUBA DIVING:
The Hormigas Islands near Cabo de Palos have been declared a Marine Reserve due to their exceptional beauty and the conservation of the sea floor, and are acknowledged as being one of Spain’s premier dive sites. There are also plenty of dive sites near Cartagena.

ROCK CLIMBING:
Not something you associate with the Mar Menor but this a great base for all the climbing areas around Murcia - including the Sierra Espuña and Leiva (Alhama de Murcia). In the Spring the weather is just perfect for climbing - warm enough to leave your thermals at home but not so hot that you get scorched!
