The house Berghof-Punzenlehen****, an old fief, is located 150km south-east of Munich and 25km west of the Mozart´s City of Salzburg (Austria) in Upper Bavaria, the southest province of Germany, between the Town Berchtesgaden and Ramsau, above the German Alpine route. The ideal location in the midst of the magnificent mountain landscape makes it a perfect starting point for lovely hikes and car tours.
The town Berchtesgaden and the Alpine National Park are situated around the mountain Watzmann and Lake Königssee and belong to the world´s leading holiday spots. Destinations such as Königsee, Obersalzberg-Eagles-Nest, Wimbach Gorge, Lake Hintersee and Jenner Cable Car, can all be reached in just minutes by car. The neighboring Salzburg province also offers countless day trips destinations. Mozart´s City of Salzburg is just 20 minutes away.
Coming by Autobahn from either Munich or Innsbruck, exit at Bad Reichenhall,
coming from Salzburg and Vienna, Autobahn exit Berchtesgaden (highway toll sticker).
A nice way to arrive is via the German Alpine Road (B 305).
Salzburg Airport (about 20 km), Munich Airport (about 180 km). Shuttle bus transfers possible from both airports.

The modern convention center is perfect for conferences. Hiking, golf, tennis, summer sledding, ice-skating, cross-country and downhill skiing and snow boarding at the Gutshof and Rossfeld ski areas make of Berchtesgaden a sports heaven. Both body and mind recover at the Watzmann Therme, a brand new spa facility. Immersed in centuries of history, Berchtesgaden is surrounded by majestic mountains atop one of which is the "Eagle's Nest". Deep below ground the visitor is transported into the fairy tale world of the salt mines. The historical town center boasts decorated façades, churches and the Royal Palace. Perched on a hillside is the famous pilgrimage church of Maria Gern, a Baroque jewel set in an exquisite alpine jewel box.

Check in time should be not before 4pm. Check out time is not later than 10am because of the final cleaning for next guests.
