The apartment is located on the bank of the Chaophraya river on the western side. Use the buildings private ferryboat to cross the river or walk across the bridge. From there you have the Skytrain or Bangkok's main river pier - so you could not be better placed in terms of access and transport.
The area itself Sathorn and Silom are excellent and home to many of Bangkok's famous five star hotels (Shangri-la is opposite, the Oriental, The Peninsula is 250m up the road and the Millenium Hilton after that).
A solid day's sight seeing, shopping, eating, drinking and partying can take its toll, so a relaxing day spent by the award winning pool will be essential.
This is a homely functional one bed apartment with a mini balcony, slightly chinese in style with cooling tile floors, an ideal staging post for the rest of Bangkok while also cosy to allow you the occasional night in - dinner, a swim a sauna and a DVD!.
