There are many Leisure and Sporting activities within walking distance including fishing, canoeing, bird watching, tennis, bowls, cycling and mountain trails. There is an excellent Pub Restaurant within two minutes walk and an Indian Restaurant, Chinese Takeaway and Chip Shop within five minutes walk. A little further afield are more Pub Restaurants, three lakes, two of which provide fishing, boating and jet skiing activities and countless other attractions. There are local supermarkets, chemists medical centre, social clubs etc. There are many glorious waterfalls including Pontneathvaughan and Aberdulais. There are several museums such as The Coal and Steam Museum, the 1940's Museum and several others. Within about 20 minutes are a Chimp Sanctuary, the famous Dan Yr Ogof Caves and the Brecon Mountain Railway. The major market town of Neath is within 10 minutes drive. There is a choice of beaches within 20 - 30 minutes' drive. Wales' Second City of Swansea is within 20 minutes' drive. The beautiful Gower Peninsula is within 35 minutes' drive. Wales' Capital City of Cardiff is withing 45 minutes' drive.
