The Station House Hotel is a converted train station located in the quiet country village of Kilmessan, Co. Meath. The hotel is owned and run by the Slattery family who, have kept the magic and charm of its former identity but have added to it, a warm and dedicated service, now in a class of its own.

The hotel sits on twelve acres of landscaped gardens and woodlands. Now specialising in weddings, the management and staff at The Station House Hotel are experts at what they do. What The Station House Hotel has, that no other hotel in the world has, is it’s own Signal Suite. Once workplace to the train master where he signalled the trains to and fro, The Signal Suite has been tastefully transformed into a romantic, remote bridal suite, complete in a world of its own. The exclusivity of this hide away allows you to take a break and chill out from the hype and stress.

Apart from the Signal Suite, guests can choose from one of twenty uniquely designed and decorated bedrooms. All rooms are en-suite with both a shower and a bath, and each have its own ISDN connection, TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press, tea/coffee/fruit facilities, room service, and so on.

The Signal Restaurant has been awarded an RAC Dining Award 2002, Georgina Campbell’s Jameson Restaurant Guide and Best Restaurant Award. It is a major favourite with local, national and international guests. Using fresh local produce, the food is a traditional fare cooked to the highest standards. Famous for it’s 2 for 1 promotion, the detailed, elaborate A La Carte and Table D’hote Dinner menus will make your mouth water from the second you begin to read them.
