Comfortable and very well equipped 4-star-holiday home (official rating), built in 2004. Non-smoking property, children and 1 well behaved dog most welcome, suitable for elderly people with slight handicap, for there are no stairs in the house.
The house is located on a big, completely fenced site directly at the edge of the village with lovely views of the surrounding forests and meadows and much privacy.
2 bedrooms, each with double bed and huge wardrobe, 2 x shower-room/WC, washing-machine and tumble dryer. Big open cooking-living-area with modern fitted kitchen, containing fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, plenty of cooking-utensils, many electric kitchen devices and lots of china/glasses.
Dining corner with corner bench, table and chairs, sitting-area with big sofa and armchair, cupboard, satellite-TV, stereo unit, telephone, hideaway bed (looking like a high-board).
Very nice covered veranda , facing South and overlooking the forests and meadows. Big lawn with childrens´play area, garden furniture, barbeque. Carport.

Local Area DetailsBörfink is a little village in the "Nature Park Saar-Hunsruck" in the triangle Germany-France-Luxembourg, amidst huge forests with rare plants and many deer right between the valleys of Moselle and Nahe with excellent wines and many attractions. The place was found to provide the nearby ironworks with charcoal in the 19th century and is very rural and quiet, ideal for relaxation and hiking, but also very central for tours to France and Luxembourg, the Moselle valley, Idar-Oberstein and the German Gemstone Route and the Saarland. The gem-mine "Steinkaulenberg" at Idar-Oberstein allows guests to dig for gems and in many gem shops one can watch how gems are cut, a copper and a slate mine are nearby, deer parks, a fun swimming pool, a summer toboggan run, lake Bostal for swimming, wind-surfing and boat rides, Roman and celtic remains and excavations, the open-air museum of Rhineland-Palatinate, indoor and outdoor swimming pools , Germany´s oldest town Trier etc. wait to be explored. 2 golf couses are within 15 miles.

The daily rate all year in 2007 is 34 Euro/night for 1-2 persons plus 6,50 Euro/night for each additional guest. Beds are made on arrival, towels, water, electricity, central heating , welcome beverage and final cleaning (except cleaning of barbeque , kitchen utensils and dish-washing) are included !
1 toddler sleeping in cot is free, 1 well behaved pet free.
Deposit of 100 Euro payable on arrival, will be paid back completely on departure, if the house is left without damage and in decent condition.
30 % of the rental rate are charged within 14 days after reservation to confirm the booking. In case of cancellation , this amount will not be refunded. We recommend a cancellation insurance. |
