Local Area DetailsThis is a holiday destination for those who just want to get away from it all. The island is ideal for walkers and there is also an excellent diving school a short distance from the apartment. The village is reached by ferry from Los Cristianos in Tenerife and is situated in the most southern and sunniest part of La Gomera. On the outskirts of the village is a new 18 hole golf course. From the harbour boat trips may be taken to the island capital San Sebastian or Valle Gran Rey, which is probably the most commercial part of the island.
