Casa Amarilla(The Yellow House)offers bed & breakfast and self- catering holidays in one of the white villages of andalucia. Set in the mountains and olive groves. The area is a major producer of olives.
Our holiday home provides bed & breakfast and self catering accommodation for up to seven people. The amenities comprise of,one family bedroom and two double bedrooms,lounge,kitchen,dining-room,toilet,bathroom and shower room.Private patio area.Linen is supplied.
Local Area DetailsOnly 40 minutes from both Malaga and Granada Airports and just off the autovis. Good transport links from the airport.When you came to Trabuco you enter another world far removed from the costas yet with all the amenities you would expect in a small provincial town.There are four banks, all the usual shops such as supermarkets,bakeries,an indoor market for your fresh fruit,meat an fish. The market is open 6 days a week and there is also an outdoor market on a wednesday. There is a 24 hr medical centre, a dentist and opticians. In the summer the lcoal swimming pool is open but there is an indoor one at Antequera.
A good area for walking and painting holidays.
Antequera is 25 mins away (population 48,000) with moorish architecture,traditional restaurants,churches,monaseries,tapas bars.
The nearest beach is in Malaga which is also a good place to shop with its designer shops. Malaga has a picaso museum and a cathedral.
You have beaches and water parks at Benalmadena,Torremolnnos. The beaches are safe clean and have play areas for children.
You are ideally placed to access all major cities. Granada is 40 minutes and boasts the stunning Alhambra Place, the old arab quarter with its endless winding streets.
Seville is 1hr30. Cordoba 1 hr, Cadiz is just under 2 hours. Historical Ronda and the amazing gorge is 1 hr 30.
Sould you decide to visit Morocco which is 9 miles from spain a ferry from Cueta-Algeciras leaves every hour and is approx 75 euros return. An unforgettable culture,beautiful architecture and many tempting dishes to savour if you love spicy food.
Had to much sunbathing then take a trip to tax free Gibralter (via motorway) 2 hours,watch out for the monkeys.

There is also a fiesta in Trabuco on the 10th September to the 15th September. Loads of things going on at the plaza day and night, so come and join us for a good time. |
