We have 4 self catering holiday cottages on a working farm.
2 of our cottages are suitable for wheelchairs.
They sleep 4 to 8 people.
Converted from the Old Stabling Block built with traditional Cumbrian Sandstone, our cottages retain features, such as open beamed ceilings, and original stonework.
All have double glazing, full central heating and individual patio or veranda area.
They are equipped to a very high standard.
All are rated 3 star. 

If you have a large party, we can accommodate large numbers of guests in adjoining cottages.
Three of our cottages have connecting doors which can be un-locked to accommodate up to 15 persons if required.
Slightly smaller parties of 8 can also be accommodated in a similar fashion, using 2 adjoining cottages.

Local Area Details

Pasture Farm is a working farm situated one and a half miles from the tranquil pretty village of Westnewton and only one and a half miles from the small well serviced town of Aspatria.
Access to the farm is along a farm lane.
Each sandstone cottage has its own south facing paved patio area overlooking open countryside with views to the Northern Fells.
This area lies just off the uncommercialised western edge of The Lake District National Park well known for its spectacular scenery and wonderful walking opportunities.
Visitors can enjoy pleasant walks from their doorstep or take advantage of the varied tourist routes and attractions this central location offers.
Keswick and Cockermouth are both just 12 scenic miles away.
Bassenthwaite Lake with the Osprey Centre just 7 miles.
Riding stables 1 mile.
Golf at the coastal village of Silloth 10 miles.

The historic city of Carlisle founded by the Romans as part of the Hadrians Wall defence is just 18 easy miles away.
This is a very peaceful and relaxing base for visiting The Lake District with its magnificent scenery and many attractions.
