Property Details

Our elegantly-designed front-line townhouse at La Torre has stunning views overlooking the 15th hole of the golf course. It is located in a quieter part of the resort, ideal for golfers or young families, being only 100 metres to two of the many children’s play areas and just six minutes walk from the nearest of the resort’s 22 swimming pools. Another seven minutes and you’re in the resort centre, where you can wine and dine in an abundance of bars and restaurants.

The fully air-conditioned property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has two single beds which can be zipped together to make a super king-size bed, if you prefer. There is central heating throughout for those refreshingly cooler winter nights.

There's wireless broadband available throughout the house and a telephone for incoming calls, plus free calls to other properties on the various Polaris World resorts.

One bedroom is downstairs, plus a shower room, incorporating toilet, sink & bidet. In the lounge area there's a leather corner suite, satellite TV with UK channels, a DVD/video player, CD player and iPod dock, with speakers & charger.

The dining area, with oak table and chairs, has doors leading out to a patio and barbecue area, with its fantastic views of the golf course. You can dine alfresco or simply relax with a good book in the shade on the day-bed.

The kitchen includes an oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, cafetière, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The master bedroom is upstairs, with patio doors leading to the upstairs terrace and its superb vistas across the golf-course, palm trees and lake. On the terrace you'll find a table (with umbrella), four chairs and four sun-loungers. The master bathroom includes a bath (with shower), vanity basin and bidet.

Please bear in mind that neither smoking nor pets are allowed in the townhouse.

Local Area Details

La Torre Golf Resort is on the Costa Calida of sunsoaked Murcia in south eastern Spain. The Murcia region has one of the most agreeable climates in Spain with temperatures averaging 21 C and around 320 days of sunshine every year.

The centrepiece of the resort is the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. But it is not all about golf. You can take a dip in one of the twenty-two luxury swimming pools on the resort, relax in a jacuzzi, practice your serve on the tennis courts or have fun with the kids at one of the children’s playgrounds. If you want a break from the action, you can browse the many shops or relax over a glass of the excellent local wine or enjoy fine dining in one of the several bars and restaurants.

There is a free shuttle bus service to the other Polaris resorts - currently El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme and Mar Menor Golf Resorts - but to make the most of the local area we strongly recommend you hire a car as there is no other public transport at present from the resort other than a bus in the evenings to the local town of Roldan.

The resort is a 20 minute drive from the safe sandy beaches of the Mar Menor Little Sea a warm natural lagoon sheltered from the main Mediterranean Sea by a long sand bank Along the coastline of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean you will find miles of golden sand shallow waters and hidden coves enough to try a different beach for every day of your holiday.
