The apartment (which sleeps 2/4) is situated on the first floor of the attractive low rise two storey development of Areias de Porches. The small development has spacious landscaped gardens, two adult and one children's swimming pool and tennis courts all for the sole use of guests. The apartment is located in an enviable position on the edge of the development and benefits from two south facing furnished balconies - one off the lounge and one off the bedroom - both with stunning sea and countryside views and all day sun.
The bedroom has twin beds, bedside cabinet and large fitted wardrobes. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge and an additional fitted wardrobe in the hallway.
The modern designer kitchen has granite worktops and steel appliances - fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and microwave.
The lounge and bedroom have air conditioning and heating. There is a flat screen TV with satellite Sky English channels and 4 Portuguese channels, DVD player and CD/radio, with a wide selection of DVDs and CDs or guests' enjoyment.
Local Area DetailsThe apartment is located right in the centre of the Algarve coast. Situated in a quiet village location but 3 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from livelier Armacao de Pera and 15 minutes drive from the resorts of Albufeira, Portimao, Alvor and Carvoeiro. 15 minutes drive from Algarve Shopping, a large mall with stores, designer fashion boutiques, a hypermarket and food hall, multi-screen cinema, restaurants and bowling alley. An excellent selection of restaurants, two supermarkets and local shops are within walking distance of the apartment. Ideally situated for all the local attractions of the Algarve - its multitude of golf courses, water parks, zoos etc. Aqualand, Slide & Splash and Zoomarine are all within a 10 minute drive.
Porches, famous for its terracotta pottery, is a wonderful Portuguese village with arguably two of the best Blue Flag beaches on the Algarve, which are often frequented by the rich and famous. Close by is a fantastic luxury hotel, which offers five-star facilities including a spa and beauty treatments. There are a wide choice of restaurants and bars both at the beach and within the village.
A 4 minute stroll to two beautiful blue flag beaches of Praia Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova, with access from one to the other via a tunnel under the rocks, on which stands the picturesque Chapel Nossa Senhora da Rocha.
The Algarve is renouned for its multitude of golf courses and waterparks, all of which are easily accessible from this centrally located apartment. The apartment is centrally located in the Algarve - ideal for golfing, sightseeing, beaches and relaxation. It is perfectly situated for walkers - being a 4 minute walk from stunning cliff top walks that stretch for mile after mile and offer views of the dramatic rock formations, caves and numerous secluded beaches. It is also situated a few hundred yards from the Algarve Coastal Cycle Route, which runs the full length of the Algarve coast from the Spanish Border to Cape St Vincent, the most south westerly point of Europe.
