Villa Helios is a luxury holiday villa with private pool near Lindos, set in the prestigious and exclusive 5 star 'Blue Line Residences’, overlooking the Aegean Sea. This small development on a private road nestled in a quiet area between Lindos and Pefkos. Built in 2006 from local brick, marble and stone, this elegant villa offers breathtaking 360 degree views of the Aegean Sea and the Cliffs of Navarone. Villa Helios offers generous living accommodation that is spacious, light and airy. It is modern, contemporary and comfortable with extensive living space complemented by beautiful outdoor terraces and its own private infinity pool.

Villa Helios accommodates 6-8 people over 3 floors. There is a large open plan living and dining area with fully fitted kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms incorporating a top floor "master suite" with ensuite shower room and fantastic panoramic roof terrace. There is a large family bathroom and utility room. The villa incorporates traditional local qualities with hi-spec, contemporary finishes and all the equipment expected in a luxury villa. The villa has a tiled floor and is fully air conditioned (hot/cold) throughout the property.
It has its own private swimming pool with stunning views out to the sea. There is also a spacious roof top terrace with an even more spectacular view of the blue waters of the Aegean and a shaded courtyard.

Outdoor Area

Set in a large sunny corner plot, Villa Helios is set in a private walled garden tastefully landscaped with Oleander and mature olive trees. There is extensive garden that run the length of the property which incorporates a traditional Greek barbeque close to the main dining terrace. There is also private parking for approximately 4 cars, of which 2 of these cars can be shaded under the car port. The villa, pool and garden can be fully illuminated in the evening.

The front terrace from the lounge and dining room is part covered by a pergola to offer a stylish and shaded outdoor eating area with a large teak table and chairs for 6-8 people. It has breathtaking and outstanding views of the villa’s private pool, Cliffs of Navarone and Aegean Sea.

The private infinity pool is 8 x 4m surrounded by a furnished pool terrace. There is an outdoor shower and six luxury teak sun loungers. The pool has steps for easy access and can be illuminated at night. The pool is fully maintained and cleaned three times per week.

Security

All windows are UPVC double glazed with retractable security shutters and there is a safe available for guests valuables (left at own risk). There are two smoke detectors fitted in the stairways and a fire extinguisher and first aid kit located in the kitchen.
Living and Dining Area

The spacious open plan living area incorporates two modern comfortable sofas, as well as 2 stylish armchairs. The living area comes complete with an LCD flat screen TV with DVD player and local satellite TV. The dining area incorporates a large table with six chairs for stylish dining. There is a sideboard containing board games, books and Hi-fi.

Kitchen

This large, modern fully fitted dining kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 6-8 people. It is open plan to the lounge and dining area. There is a full size Zanussi fan oven with ceramic hob (4 rings) with a stainless steel extractor fan. The kitchen also includes a family sized fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and toastie maker etc. There is a full complement of crockery, glassware and kitchen utensils etc.

Family Bathroom

The substantial modern bathroom comes equipped with double contemporary wash basins, oversized mirror, WC and relaxing full sized Jacuzzi bath with shower. The bathroom is light with a fully tiled floor.

Utlity Room

The utility room incorporates a washing machine, safe iron/ironing board, cleaning equipment, two clothes driers, dust-buster and space to store cases.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have hot/cold air conditioning units, fans and hairdryers.

Bedroom One

The larger of the downstairs bedrooms comes equipped with a Super King Sized bed, two bedside tables and floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes. There are patio doors to the rear courtyard that has a teak table and chairs for 2.

Bedroom Two

There is a Super King Sized Bed with two bedside tables and large fitted wardrobes. There is a window with views onto the private courtyard. There are 2 Z beds so that the villa can sleep up to 8.


Bedroom 3 – Master Bedroom

This bedroom is located on the upper floor and boasts a King Sized bed with two bedside tables and fitted wardrobes. There is a fully tiled en-suite shower room with WC, wash basin with mirror and power shower. A patio door provides access onto a spacious roof terrace which provides spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and bay. The terrace also has a teak table and chairs for 4 and sun-loungers.

Younger Guests

There is a full sizes cot, travel cot and a wide selection of bedding, highchair and changing mat. A stair gate is available. In the kitchen there are children’s plates, cutlery and beakers with a microwave to warm food and bottles. Car seats are available to hire direct from the car hire companies when booking.

Villa Helios

The Villa is strictly no smoking.
Villa rental includes cleaning as detailed, air conditioning, water and electricity.
The villa is extensively cleaned before arrival and there will be clean linen and towels. For a two week stay, the villa will be cleaned after the first week and the linen and towels replaced. The pool is fully maintained and cleaned three times a week.
We ask our guests to be respectful of their surroundings but if a breakage occurs then please let us know then this item can be replaced for others.

• Large choice of flights, gone are the days of being restricted to charter flights. If you live in southern UK then why not consider British Airways Gatwick-Rhodes scheduled service or now EasyJet from London Gatwick from March 2008. It operates from end March to end October four times a week - on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Direct flights are available from Liverpool, Manchester and all other UK airports on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays.
• Consider visiting "off season". Of all the Greek islands Rhodes has a consistently reliable sunshine record. It is hardly surprising that many discerning holidaymakers are going to Rhodes in the winter months. There are no direct flights off season at the moment but flying via Athens is easy and cheap - British Airways and EasyJet both offer low cost fares to Athens. It is then simply case of connecting on to either Olympic Airlines or Aegean Airlines for the 45 minute "hop" to Rhodes
• On arrival at Rhodes airport, there's no waiting to be herded on to a coach, just pick up your pre-booked car (rental companies, including Hertz, Avis and Holiday Autos have desks in the arrivals hall) and head straight down to Lindos - your villa is less than 40 minutes drive! Alternatively a taxi will cost around 40 Euros.
• Join the thousands who are now opting to self build their holidays, ie. book the key components yourself - villa, flights, car hire. It's so easy with the internet and you'll save money purely because you're cutting out the middle man - the tour operator.

Lindos
Lindos is 2 minutes away from Villa Helios by car or 20 minutes on foot for the more energetic.
Lindos is situated on the Greek island of Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanese islands. It has become known as the ‘Sunshine Island' as it basks in more than 300 days of sun each year!
Talk to anyone who has been - Lindos is very special. Not quite like anywhere you've been before. Traditional buildings, car free streets, sandy beaches and of course the ancient Acropolis are just some of what Lindos has to offer. Lindos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so it has been conserved and its preservation is guaranteed for the future.

The stunning village of Lindos with its maze of tiny white washed sugar cubed houses and narrow winding cobbled streets, cascading down the hillside with its sandy beaches below and crowned by the awe inspiring Acropolis. The village itself is blessed with wonderful Greek restaurants, tavernas and bars and the locals are the friendliest people you could wish to meet.
The nightlife in the village is relaxed and friendly with a variety of bars to choose from, although the music stops at midnight in the bars, there are a couple of nightclubs to choose from for those who want to stay out until the early hours.
The nearest resort to Lindos is the popular resort of Pefkos, it's a family's paradise and has long white sandy beaches and has many taverna's and tourist shops at your disposal, it is very popular with U.K. tourists.
There are a number of bars to choose from of which drinks and snacks are available all day and into the early hours. The resort is also in close proximity to the resorts of Lindos and Lardos and can be easily reached by taxi for about 6-8€.
There are many shopping opportunities in the pretty cobbled passage ways of Lindos. As for bars, cafes and eateries - there is an array to suit all tastes. You can choose between a romantic roof top restaurant, a family run taverna, or a true 'fine dining' experience - no matter where you end up you'll be assured of a warm welcome everywhere.

The main beach at Lindos offers water sports and boat trips, while the magical St Pauls Bay, a favorite for Lindian weddings is only minutes from your villa, overlooking Psartos Bay.

If you are looking for sheer relaxation, clear blue waters, perfect weather, in and around one of the most beautiful and famous landmarks in Greece, then it has to be Lindos!

In Lindos and Pefkos there are lots of tasteful bars and restaurants which are relaxed and inviting and serve local and international drinks, all at very reasonable prices. There are rumored to be around 50 bars in Lindos to choose from of which all play music until midnight and are all within walking distance. For those who wish to stay out until the early hours there are a couple of nightclubs to choose from, both of which offer a friendly and lively atmosphere.
