| Shadow Mountain Escape (SME) is three Timber Frame Structures located in a beautiful "niche" of the Blue Ridge Mountains known as "Jewell Hollow". The primary timber frame structure is a unique duplex lodge (Bumble Bee – Dragon Fly cabins) cleverly designed with no walls shared between the two independent dwellings. This two cabin lodge has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and sleeps up to 12 people. (The cabins can be rented separately or together).
There is an observation tower, which provides a striking view of the ridge line and surrounding forest for guests to enjoy. The Butterfly is Shadow Mountain Escape’s newest addition. The stand-alone unit is the most secluded - it rests on the second level of the timber frame “salt box� barn structure.
