ALDEA DEL COTO is a new luxury development, completed in June 2002, which benefits from well-maintained communal gardens, a total of four swimming pools (two of which are for children), security gates, secure underground parking, and a park with childrens play area. The complex is located approximately 800m from the shopping, restaurants, bars and the spectacular fine sand beach of Playa La Barrosa. This beach is considered amongst the best in Andalucia, and has been awarded Blue Flag status every year.
This stunning apartment is situated on the top floor of a two-storey block, and enjoys spectacular views over the landscaped gardens, swimming pools and pine forest. The well-furnished lounge/diner leads directly out onto the south-facing balcony, from where you can enjoy the view as well as some al fresco dining.
Tastefully furnished throughout in contemporary style, this apartment offers two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with fitted wardrobes, fans and portable electric heaters and there is a wall safe in the main bedroom for your valuables. There is also a childs cot and chairbed available, giving sleeping capacity for five plus an infant.
The fully-fitted kitchen is equipped with built-in oven and ceramic hob, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave as well as all necessary kitchenware. The lounge/diner has a large comfortable L-shaped sofa, where you can relax and watch TV (satellite with UK channels), DVD or listen to your favourite music on the CD/radio. The dining table is extendable and seats six people, and there is ample storage space in cabinets for your personal belongings. The modern bathroom boasts a full bath with shower, bidet and WC. There is a hairdryer available for convenience of guests.
Local Area DetailsPlaya La Barrosa extends for some 8km, lapped by the Atlantic Ocean, and is considered to be one of the best beaches in Andalucia, if not the whole of Spain. It has been awarded Blue Flag status every year since the award was created. This part of the coastline has also avoided the high-rise development seen in many other areas of Spain.
This superb beach stretches from the little island of Sancti Petri as far as the tower of El Puerco. The beach at Sancti Petri is a particular favourite for watersports enthusiasts, particularly windsurfers. The main beachfront promenade of La Barrosa has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and tourist facilities. Further along the beach, in front of the luxury hotels and residential developments of Novo Sancti Petri, La Barrosa beach is backed by beautiful dunes, cliffs and pine forests.
The town of Chiclana is about 6km away, and we are approximately 25km south of Cadiz, the provincial capital.
You are also just a few minutes drive from Novo Sancti Petri, a tourist and sporting complex which boasts a golf course of 36 holes designed by Severiano Ballesteros. This area has several 4 and 5 star hotels, and is also well-equipped for horse-riding, tennis, squash, football and watersports. Novo Sancti Petri commercial centre also offers many restaurants and bars.
This apartment makes an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of Andalucia. The vibrant and beautiful city of Seville is within easy reach. A visit to Jerez, the home of many renowned sherry bodegas, would not be complete without sampling some of the delicious produce. Cadiz, the oldest city in Europe, is a fascinating place to just wander through the narrow streets of the old town, or you can even take the 30 minute hydrofoil trip to Morocco. And of course there are several lovely “pueblos blancos” such as Vejer, Arcos and Medina Sidonia all an easy journey for a perfect day’s sightseeing.

| Although the rental rates are quoted in Pounds Sterling, we also accept payment in € equivalent. Please check at time of booking.
Please note the above prices are for the apartment and not per person. The prices include bed linen and bath towels, as well as cleaning, electricity, gas etc. An iron and ironing board are provided.
With the exception of July and August, the rental dates are flexible. During July and August however, the minimum rental time is two weeks and although changeover days are normally Saturday/Saturday, we offer some flexibility if possible. The apartment is available all year round, and long term rentals are negotiable.
The apartment is available from 4pm on the day of arrival, and we ask that guests vacate the apartment by midday on their departure day.
Please note that the pool season is currently mid-June to mid-September, outside of these times the communal pool is officially closed.
