Local Area DetailsThe Manassas area is the location of the 1st and 3rd battles of the Civil War and our Old Town section has many old stores. We are located about 11 miles from the end of the metro system so getting into Washington DC is very easy. We are also close to the Shenandoah Valley and prize winning wine vineyards. During the summer months, we have a water park 2-miles down the road and a small ski area about 15-miles from the house during the winter months.
