A real Canadian farm with two miniature horses, sheep, chickens and ducks.
Your hosts, Peter and Gini love to tell stories of their experiences and share lots of information about the area. When he isn't farming, Peter is a carpenter and furniture maker and will be happy to show you his workshop. Gini likes to make jam and occasionally write articles.

Relax on our farm or explore our beautiful countryside. There are beaches, parks, and miles of trails. Wildlife abounds with birds, deer, seals, eagles, otters, whales and much more. There's history at the old one-room schoolhouse (one of B.C.'s oldest) or in St. Mary's churchyard, both dating from the 1870's. Visit local artists' studios, take in a round of golf, or go fishing. See the sights in Victoria, or explore southern Vancouver Island. It's so peaceful, a week won't seem long enough.
Get familiar . . .
. . . with the birds and the bees and a whole lot more. There are chickens, and five sheep Isabelle, Mavis, Chloe, Bernice and Winnie. There are black ducks (Cayugas) and white ducks (Pekins) and even black & white ducks (?). There are two mischievous miniature horses, Smokey and Zazzy. And then there's Jess, the Border Collie who loves to bark at the chickens and herd the ducks and play ball with our guests. Our apple orchard has over three hundred trees, producing over a dozen different varieties of juicy, crunchy apples in the fall.
