The kitchen dining area is well fitted and is well laid out for ease of use. The kitchen features a fridge freezer, dish washer,microwave, electic oven and grill and a gas hob. Plenty of crockery and cutlery etc.

The lounge area has two settees and two armchairs satellite TV, DVD and radio etc. The woodburning fire also heats underfloor piping to ensure warmth during winter breaks.

French windows from the lounge lead onto a seperate terrace/balcony large enough to sit out and eat outside also steps from the terrace lead down to a small courtyard garden.

Stairs from the lounge lead up to a gallery with two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two singles, both rooms have ensuite showers and toilets and a vanity unit/washbasin in the room.Syanding on the Gallery walkway outside the bedroomsa you have a view through large picture windows out over the valley.

Local Area Details

Located in Lower Normandy the properties are ideally located for exploring both Normandy and Brittany. Local towns are Mortain about 15 minutes which is a hilltop town with large open air pool, small market on Saturdays Champion supermarket and several bars and restaurants. It also features a waterfall walking area (grande and petit cascade) a small canyon area where you may see rock climbers.
St Hilaire du Harcouet is a larger town with more shops, bars and restaurants and the largest street market in Normandy each wednesday, also a Leclerc and a Champion supermarkets.
Mont St Michel is about half an hours drive away and many long clean and frequently empty beaches may be found nearby up the westb side of the peninsular.CVhildrens attractions include the Enchanted Village and a theme parc (Ange St Michel) near the Lac de Vezins lake complex outside st Hilare.
Good fishing in many lakes and nearby rivers and several golf courses within easy reach.
You may decide of course to just stay in at your holiday home and totally relax in the beutifully quiet and peacefull valley away from it all.
