Ruby Bay cottage is fully equipped with 3 bedrooms sleeping 6+ from only $125 per night (including SKY TV with sports and movies). With a dining kitchen, living room and large rumpus, there is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out in comfort. The single storey bach is ideal for children and pets (by arrangement) and has great indoor / outdoor flow leading from the house to the BBQ, garden furniture and trampoline. Bedding and towels are provided but please bring own beach towels (you'll need them as the safe swimming beach is only across the avenue at the end of the garden) although there is an automatic washing machine and a tumble drier for your use. The nearest town, Mapua, only a 2 minute drive to restaurants, boutique shops and wharf and there is a dairy and takeaway within a short walk. For the comfort of Deaf guests, a specialist doorbell, smoke alarm and teletext are installed (plus “hearing Dogs” are welcome). There is a garage plus plenty off off-street parking, or use the extra parking area for your small boat if required. Smoking permitted but strictly outside only.

The beach is only a 1 minute stroll away across the avenue. Mapua village with many award winning cafes, shops, and sandy beaches is only 2 minutes drive away. Richmond with its extensive variety of shops and covered Mall is 20 minutes drive away. Kaiteriteri with its beautiful beaches, the Abel Tasman National Park, Nelson Lakes & Kahurangi National Parks, many award winning local wineries and several excellent golf courses are also within easy reach.
