Situated in a centuries old hamlet, yet near enough to explore the many famous, historical and interesting areas within the region. Built from traditional stone and retaining character whilst renovated to a high standard, this cottage has all its original oak beams, local honey coloured stone walls and large open fireplaces. It has been thoughtfully furnished to provide comfort and total relaxation for your holiday. Sleeping up to 5 people it offers, one double, one twin bedroom plus a mezzanine area with convertible sofa bed. It has a newly equipped fully fitted kitchen, including fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Your own patio with BBQ area overlooks the grounds. A new swimming pool was recently constructed that is child safety fenced/gated (shared use). Set in 5000 sq mtrs of enclosed tranquil grounds with mature trees.
Local Area DetailsThe holiday home is set in an ideal area for walks, fishing, cycyling, canoeing and also swimming in the local freshwater lakes. Wonderful freshly baked break, croissants and patisseries together with other shops are just a few minutes away including local weekly markets selling local produce. Daily fights by low cost airlines operate to nearby Limoges and Bergerac. Calais is approximately, 7 hours by car.
