Self-contained apartment of 120 sq.metres occupying the whole of the ground floor of the owners' villa, situated in a quiet residential street five minutes from the town centre with all services and beautiful Lake Bracciano with its beaches. The property consists of a spacious lounge and dining area; French windows lead on to a terrace with an area for eating and relaxing overlooking the very pleasant garden, part of which can be used by guests. The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, hob, and microwave oven. There is also a washing machine. The bedroom has a double bed which can be separated into two single beds and there is a double sofabed in the lounge. A child's cot is also available. There are two bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi bathtub. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. The TV has a satellite connection with channels in English.There are books and a cassette player for visitors. There is also private parking. The owners speak English, Italian, French and Spanish and are on the spot to offer any information needed.
Local Area DetailsThe property is situated 40 kms from Rome which can be reached by a fast dual carriageway, by bus or by train which goes right into the centre of Rome. The town has a very picturesque old part and there are many restaurants and bars along the lakeside. Windsurfing, sailing, swimming, snorkelling and fishing are some of the activities on the lake. Tennis, cycling, walking in the woods around the lake, and bird-watching are other activities which can be done. Trevignano Romano is one of three towns on the lake and in the summer a boat takes visitors round the lake stopping at each of the towns. The region is of great artistic, historical and cultural interest, and is part of the Etruscan area; there is an Etrucan museum in the town. The coast with its beaches is 40 kms away. There are many places of interest to visit.
