Property Details
The villa occupies the 1st and 2nd floors of a three storey house built in the 50’s for the present owner’s grandfather and is comfortably furnished as a family holiday home.
There are three double bedrooms and a twin room plus a bathroom on the top floor. The two front rooms share a balcony with sea views.
The first floor has a small cloakroom-wc, a kitchen, a fully equipped dining room adjoining to a large living room which leads onto another balcony with sea view, where you can enjoy breakfast or drinks before dinner.
The self-contained apartment is on the ground floor with a separate entrance, there is an interconnecting door that can be used if let together with the villa.
It has a double and a twin bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen/living room leading to a private garden.
Albufeira is a good size town with many restaurants and bars, a large variety of small shops in the town centre, and a supermarket at the end of the road where the villa is situated c. 400 m.
It is a comfortable 30-40 minute drive from Faro Airport.
The main beach is a 5 minute walk down the hill and there are lots of small, secluded beaches within a short drive.
For those interested in golf the Algarve is a Mecca with numerous courses and ideal winter weather conditions.
Both the villa and the apartment have plenty of bed linen and towels and there is a laundry with ironing service 100 yards away. We can arrange for a maid to clean, change the beds and deliver and collect your laundry on a weekly basis.
The nearby Hotel Cerro Grande (c. 5 min walk)has a nice pool in a garden, which can be used for a daily or weekly fee, £1.00 p/day children, £2.00 p/day adults. Weekly passes work out cheaper.
