Planted with bougainvillea, hibiscus and strelitzia, and fully equipped with loungers, dining table and "chill-out" bed, it is the ideal spot to relax in the sun and perhaps enjoy a glass of chilled 'fino' while watching the golfers below.
Residents are welcome to make use of the San Roque club facilities including two championship golf courses, the equestrian centre, tennis courts, pools, restaurants and bars.
Local Area Details5 minutes drive: Pueblo Nuevo village with large supermarket, shops, French bakery and cafe, English butcher and a great Argentinian restaurant - very Spanish!
8 minutes drive: Alcaidesa beach resort with beautiful sandy beach, links course, windsurfing and other watersports, bars, cafes and restaurants.
10 minutes drive: "millionaire's marina" at Sotogrande, with sailing, water-skiing, fashionable waterfront bars and restaurants - even a polo club.
Within one hour: fascinating historical British colony on the Rock of Gibraltar; fashionable coastal towns of Marbella and Puerto Banus, with great nightlife; laid back 'hippy town' of Tarifa; historical Spanish port city of Cadiz; Jerez, picturesque centre of the sherry industry with bodegas and wineries to visit.
Day trips: Unesco world heritage sites Granada and Cordoba; Seville, Spain's fourth largest and most colourful city; North Africa, a 40 minute sea crossing by fast boat from Tarifa; Ronda, a historical city perched high on a hill with breathtaking views of the surrounding ravines.
