A brief description:

The Windmill forms part of a sensitively converted 1820 built flour mill and consists of the top five storeys of the windmill tower.
From heights of 60 to100ft there are magnificent views, North, East and West, over almost the entire city of Lincoln and especially of the glorious Cathedral some half-mile away to the North “as the crow flies”.

We are less than a ten-minute stroll from the heart of Lincoln city centre with it’s fine shopping, excellent restaurants, theatre, art galleries and huge variety of inns, pubs and bars, ancient and modern. The Cathedral takes a little longer to reach atop a very Steep Hill (!) located as it is within the medieval part of town.

The accommodation includes:
Kitchen: fully fitted marble tops with dishwasher, washing m/c, fridge freezer, cooker etc.
Lounge: large and circular (with tv.) also provides access to the external viewing gallery (20m round x 1.2m wide).
The Gallery: of steel construction and a replica of the original sail-trimming balcony. On warm, sunny days this is a wonderful place to spend a peaceful hour or two high above the hustle and bustle of street life. (Not recommended for use by children or anyone with a problem with heights!) The gallery is the only area where smoking is permitted.

Dining Room: easily seats eight at the French oak refectory table.

Master Bedroom: large double complete with en-suite shower.

Tower Bathroom: including large bath centre stage.
Dome Pool Room: accessed from Bedroom 2 and fitted with a circular pool table..

Please note: The Master bedroom, bedroom 3, the Dining area and the Kitchen are all positioned in the fourth floor roof conversion with the rest of the accommodation contained within the windmill tower and accessed via a spiral staircase. (The point being that this area of the house would not be suitable for disabled access.)

Parking, within the grounds of the windmill, is available for one vehicle, protected by electronically operated gates with access to the main building also electrically protected. There is lift (elevator!) to all floors.
