A North Cyprus holiday villa with private pool on coast. The Hibiscus House is a perfect holiday home for families, friends, those seeking a romantic escape or nature lovers wishing to enjoy spring-time flower-strewn mountain walks from their doorstep

Enjoy stunning, uninterrupted vistas of mountains and the Mediterranean from its tranquil sunny terraces. The Hibiscus House invites guests to relax by the pool or enjoy beaches, walking and sightseeing - all that North Cyprus has to offer from the air-conditioned comfort of a luxury villa.

Sleeping up to 6 people (+ cot), Hibiscus is well-equipped with modern facilities. It features a large covered downstairs terrace and spacious first floor open sun-trap patio, approached from two bedrooms via French windows.

Amidst the villa's flower-filled gardens you'll discover citrus trees, an 8x4m underwater lit pool, parking for two cars, a jasmine covered honey-stone pergola. sunbeds, and parasols.

Assistance given with car hire, flights and airport transfers.

Additional facilities included within the price are: linen, towels, electricity, gas, a Pay-as-you-go mobile phone, hair-dryer, pool toys, travel cot and baby equipment, coffee maker, juicer, cool bags and ice-packs for picnic trips, portable fans and a welcome pack of groceries.

There are good holiday books, North Cyprus guidebooks, DVD's and CD's for days when you just want to laze on the terrace or by the pool.

For those guests with a baby or toddler, to save packing, Hibiscus House has a travel cot, high chair, changing mat, child plates and utensils - all included in the price.

The property managers are English and very helpful. Upgraded welcome packs, Champagne and additional cleaning or linen changes can be provided for a small additional charge.

In addition to the two terraces within the villa, there is a stone-built pergola with stone-topped table and cushioned wrought-iron chairs for 4-people. The large, private walled garden offers further terrace spaces on different levels in which to to sit, B-B-Q etc.

The pool terace has six sunbeds and some parasols. The pool itself is a salt-water pool (meaning no chlorine-inflamed eyes!) and has a Roman-bay end with steps to make entrances and exits easier and more graceful!

Hibiscus has outdoor lighting and candle lanterns for guests to enjoy outdoor wining and dining after dark.

There is off-road parking for two cars (4WD car hire is recommended but not essential).

Being situated within a terraced landscaped garden the property has a number of steps and may not suit those who have difficulty walking.

Local Area Details

North Cyprus is worth visiting at almost any time of year. During July and August rain is almost unheard of and it can be very hot. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid-February and it is still possible to sunbathe up to the end of November.

There are plenty of beaches in North Cyprus ranging from the sophisticated to the wild and deserted.

For history lovers, there is plenty to see from magical castles such as St. Hilarian, (said to have inspired Walt Disney) and Roman mosaics, to monasteries and churches including the beautiful Bellapais Abbey.

The villa sits just above the village of Alsancak, a typical North Cyprus village with plenty of traditional houses, small shops, supermaket and a wonderful range of restaurants.

It is a six minute drive to the nearest beaches and about 15-minutes drive into the picturesque harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) with its ancient castle, bustling shops and harbour-side restaurants.

About Beaches
The nearest beach is a short few minutes drive away. You can see it from the villa. There are plenty more to choose from within a 15-minute radius of the Hibiscus. Beaches range from the sophisticated, where you pay a small charge for sunbeds, umbrella, to the wild and deserted. Some have beach cocktail bars and cafes, some have tumbledown shacks serving the freshest grilled fish and others (the best!). Beaches can be sandy, shingle or rocky. All (that we know of) are safe for children and make for some great snorkelling. There is a directory in the villa listing the different beaches around Kyrenia, and how to find them.
