A typical Pugliese Trullo in a unique location being 10 minutes to the beaches of Torre Canne and 25 minutes from Alborobello. Most Trulli's for rent are much further from the sea.
The property is located in a small hamlet about 2km from the village of Pezze di Greco.
It is simply furnished with 2 bedrooms, shower room, kitchen, lounge and fireplace nook. To the outside there is a terrace, BBQ, table, chairs, sun loungers etc.
Location is ideal for touring the area, a quiet holiday, or a try before you buy... It is not suitable for those looking for lots of disco's and clubs.
Local Area DetailsTo do: Golf - Masseria San Domenica - championship course with club hire and caddy service; Thermal Springs at Torre Canne; Beaches stretching for miles from Torre Canne - sandy with gentle slope in to the sea; Horse Riding (10 mins); Quad Biking; Scuba Diving, Fishing Trips, Boat Trips etc.
There is a Zoo-Safari Park at Fasano (10 mins), and a water park a bit further away.
For those who like sightseeing there is the ancient town of Ostuni (10 mins) - referred to as The White City; Alborobello (capital city of the Trulli's); Cisternino, Martina Franca etc. In addition to ancient old towns, all these places also have their weekly markets selling everything from clothes & shoes, to bedding, fresh fruit n veg, and a lot more.
It is an olive producing region, and many of the trees you see in the groves are centuries old. Inland heading towards Alborobello the area also produces very nice wines.
