The house is located amongst the vineyards (nearly up to the pool) in a quiet hamlet called Massugas. Haut Rigaleau sleeps 8 and is very private with an enclosed front garden & small driveway. From the terrace (which has table, chairs, BBQ and parasols under the acacia tree), the front door leads into the hall. Off the hall is a very large double living/dining room, with huge sofas, TV, satellite, video, games and books. French windows open onto the garden.
Across the hall is the large fitted kitchen with gas/electric cooker, American fridge, dishwasher etc. Off the kitchen is the downstairs toilet, plus separate shower room. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms; 2 double (one en-suite ), 2 with 2 single beds and a family shower room with toilet. The 10x5 swimming pool is located at the side of the house with approved security cover and sun loungers
Local Area DetailsOur rural farmhouse built 1850s is located in a small farming hamlet on the gentle hillside above the Dordogne River.
Vineyards - St Emilion of course! A must to visit and taste. 18km
Bastide Villages - many wonderful villages close to hand - Gensac 4km
Markets - plenty to visit with their fresh produce and local specialties
Walks - through the rolling vineyards and along quiet country lanes
