It has an American style covered veranda with summer furniture including table chairs and garden bench. The lounge has two armchairs, the bed settee and TV and DVD player. The dining area has table and four chairs. There is one double bedroom and a bed settee. The bathroom has a double shower, toilet and sink vanity unit.
The double bedroom has ample storage space for clothes and is bright and airy. The kitchen is small but well equipped, with gas hob and electric oven, kettle and fridge, iron and board. There is also a washing machine in the utility room. Garden furniture and sun loungers provided. Linen for the bedroom and kitchen provided. The house is heated for those cooler periods.
Local Area DetailsThis is a lovely wooden chalet bungalow set on the perimeter of a 100 hectare farm with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. It has its own private lawned garden and 6.5m above ground heated pool.
For those of you with geological interests, we saw some very interesting "cross stones" which are a phenomenon to this particular area, they look as if someone has carved crosses into the stones which come in all different sizes: quite amazing. You can explore the farmlands for yourself. Two mountain bikes can be hired from the owner and also seasonal vegetables and eggs available to buy.

WE ARE ONLINE 24 OURS PLEASE MAIL FOR QUESTIONS A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival. Rental periods begin and end on a Saturday during the Peak & High seasons but are flexible at all other times. ‘Indulgence Breaks’ are available in Mid and Low seasons (for details, see our Therapies & Treatments page). A refundable Security Deposit of £150 is required in case of damage/loss to the property or its contents. The sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client’s liability to the Owners. The Security Deposit must be paid with the balance. The Owners will account to the Client for the Security Deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks of the end of the rental period. If any damage/loss is incurred during the rental period, the Client will be invoiced accordingly. Rental periods begin and end on a Saturday during the Peak & High Periods but are flexible at all other times. The rental period shall commence from 16.00 on the date of arrival and shall finish at 10.00 (am) on the date of departure. This ensures adequate preparation time prior to each Client arrival. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the commencement time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the departure time stated. ACCOMMODATION The maximum number of persons to reside in the cottage must not exceed 8 unless the Owners have given written permission to the contrary. Gas and electricity are included in the rental charge for the cottage. During the months October to April inclusive, there is a supplement of £30 per week to cover heating expenses (radiators and wood burning stove) - refunds may be given during this period at the discretion of the Owners where considered appropriate. LINEN Quality bed linen, duvets, pillows, tea towels, hand and bath towels are provided. Please note that beach towels are NOT provided. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. NB. A departure cleaning service is available –please refer to the Booking Form. The Owners reserve the right to make a deduction from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs, if the Client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties. Clients are asked not to smoke inside the cottage and the Owners express their appreciation for co-operation with this request. |
