This is a modern four double bedroom south-facing terraced villa with its own 4m x 8m swimming pool on a new development in Luz. Luz is a former fishing village about 5 kms West of Lagos on the western Algarve, and is just under an hour's drive, via the new motorway, from Faro airport. The villa is built into a hill, with the living room, kitchen and dining terrace on the first floor and the bedrooms (two at the front and two at the back) and the pool terrace on the ground floor. There is also a large roof terrace and a shaded terrace on the ground floor level at the back. There are beautiful sea views from the dining and roof terraces. The private driveway includes a car port.


All bedrooms can be either doubles or twins as they are all equipped with zip and link beds. Two are 6ft wide and 2 are 5 ft wide. There is also a cot, if required. The large and comfortable open plan living/dining room has UK satellite TV, a DVD player, a video player/recorder, a stereo and a log burning fire. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, including washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave and large fridge freezer. There is an ensuite to bedroom 1 with bath, 2 showers, bidet and wc. The second bathroom has a shower, bidet and wc. There is also a separate wc off the living room. The basic service maid service is weekly for bed and towel change with a second visit to clean. Additional maid service can be booked as often as required at extra cost.

This is a great villa for children or teenagers as they are in the village and can either use the nearby hotel pool and tennis courts or can walk into the village safely to play or hang out at the beach.

Both Luz and Lagos are well supplied with restaurants and bars to suit all budgets and tastes and numerous supermarkets. Luz also has a cinema.
The villa itself is situated less than 650m from the nearest supermarket and bank, less than 800m to the centre of Luz village and about 1 kilometre (10 minutes walk) to the nearest beach (Praia da Luz).

Local Area Details

The private pool is 8m by 4m and is accessed from the living/dining room via a spiral staircase or from the front two bedrooms. Pool towels are provided.

A BBQ is provided on the dining terrace as are tables and chairs for up to 10 guests. There are also garden benches and tables for sundowners on the top terrace.
Luz is just under an hour's drive from Faro airport. Car hire is not necessary as there is a train to the airport and all the facilities of the village are within easy walking distance. The supermarket even delivers your groceries.
Luz is 5 kms West of Lagos on the western Algarve. Lagos is a fabulous old port with a modern, trendy feel, a great marina and good shopping and restaurants.
