Les Hirondelles is a converted farmstead nestling in a quiet valley of chestnut and pine forests on the edge of the pretty hamlet of Le Cros in the Ambazac hills of La Creuse.

This is a magnificent area of lakes and forests - perfect for walking, fishing, kayaking, pony trekking and all manner of outdoor pursuits. Although Les Hirondelles satisfies that "get away from it all" feeling, it is within easy reach of all the major attractions of the Limousin.

The friendliness of the people here will make you feel instantly at home in what is truly the heart of the "real" France.

Our two renovated cottages share a large garden with 30ft. kidney shaped swimming pool, boules court, table tennis, badminton and childrens swings. There is also a barbecue area here if you wish to eat by the pool. The pool and garden area is well supplied with garden furniture and sun loungers so there is no need to reserve sunbeds or that favourite spot around the pool!

We provide all of our guests with a welcome pack which includes bread, local cheese, eggs, seasonal fruit and a decent bottle of wine to get you in the holiday mood.
