Away from mass tourism, in the quiet south-east of Crete, 8 km east of Ierapetra, the southernmost town of Europe and on a 2 minutes walk from a long and quiet beach, you can find our atmospheric full holiday apartments.
They are very good equipped also for a longer stay, for example in the winter.
The many extra facilities and personnel care will make your stay a very good experience.

THE APARTMENTS

East-West Apartments:

* Two cottage’s, built next to each other, in Cretan style.
* 2 rooms each, a living/dining room with a kitchenette and a sleeping couch, a bed room with two single beds (a baby bed can be placed) and a bathroom with shower and W.C.
* The kitchenette has an electric oven with 3 rings, fridge with freeze compartment and enough equipment for cooking.
* Library with books, guides and party/round games.
* SAT-TV, DVD player and radio.
* They are good equipped for 2 (or 3) persons and have an air conditioner for hot and cold weather what makes them possible to stay there also in winter. (For bigger families are the both apartments very suitable, you have then a private villa).
* They have a big terrace in the south, with pergola, umbrella, sun beds, chairs, tables and grill, surrounded by flowers and a garden with fruit and olive tree’s.
* On the end of a small private road and with an own parking place.

FACILITIES:

* We take care of fresh sheets and towels. You just have to take beach towels by yourself.
* The apartments are fully and comfortable equipped. For example, air conditioner, fridge with freeze compartment, oven, coffee maker, water cooker, thermos and enough pans for detailed cooking.
* Library with books, guides of Crete, maps, all kind of important information and games.
* Radio (by long stay T.V. and video can be placed in the apartment)
* Torch
* Mosquito repelling coil (for outside) and machines for tablets (for inside)
* Sun-bed for every guest.
* Barbeque and garden torch
* We can arrange for you the transfer from Iraklion to Koutsounari (with taxi or rented car)(approx. 2 hours)
* You can rent a car through us, the car will be on the airport on arrival and can be left there by departure.

Local Area Details

Some houses, in between olive groves, a two-minute walk away from the famous quiet "Long Beach", with tamarisks and crystal clear water.

Some parts have sun beds and umbrellas and waters port possibilities

In the surrounding are also small bays and (private) beaches.

Tavernas, supermarkets, internet cafe with satellite T.V. and a bus stop are very near and all in a flat area.

Good bus service to the east- (Sitia 50 km) and west side (Ierapetra 8 km)
*
This quiet place is a good base, to discover the beautiful and impressive east part of Crete, by public buses, car or by foot.

Daytrips to, for example, Kato Zakros, Vai, Kritsa, Lasithi Plateau, Sprinalonga or the island for the south coast, Chrissie and Koufonisi.
*
The old cities, Ierapetra, Sitia and Agios Nicolaos, for a visit to the museum, market or other places of interest.
*
Small fishing- and mountain villages with a friendly population.
*
Walking trips or trips by car (jeep), with our without guide, in the mountains, to caves and trough impressive gorges.

In brief, the Apartments are settled in a surrounding with a lot of possibilities.
A rural surrounding with the lively (also in winter) town of Ierapetra only on a distance of 8 km, makes the apartments also very suitable for a (long) stay in winter.
The southeast coast of Crete has a mild climate even in winter. (December has + 120 sunny hours)
