Isla Canela is located on the beautiful and unspoilt Costa de la Luz (The Coast of Light) in south-west Spain near the the border with Portugal, an area known as the Spanish algarve and renowned for its traditional charm and hospitality, whilst remaining free from mass tourism, it is the ideal place to discover the real Spain whilst enjoying a relaxing holiday suitable for all the family.

It is 45 minutes from Faro airport and 75 minutes from Seville, both of which are well served by UK regional airports.

With 4 miles of sandy beaches, a marina with water sports, an 18 hole golf course, a protected natural park ideal for bird watching, a mixture of modern and traditional shops bars and restaurants, all within an exceptional natural setting, and of course a climate that boasts an average yearly temperature of 18c and over 3,000 hours of sunshine throughout the year, Isla Canela must be experienced to believe!

The golf course at Isla Canela is only a 5 minute drive away. This is an 18 hole, par 72 course completed in 1994. Set in a beautiful landscape that is relatively flat with water hazards and dotted with olive, orange and eucalyptus trees, it offers challenging and entertaining play on its gentle sloped dunes. Buggies, trolleys and clubs are available for hire. A teaching professional is available for all levels of instruction in the permanent golf school. There are also 2 bowling greens, a swimming pool and a driving range adjacent to the club house, and an excellent restaurant and bar and golf shop.
