Local villages of Preggio and Lisciano Niccone, Umbria (15 minutes drive)offer good local restaurants, bars, shops and services whilst the bigger town of Umbertide offers all the facilities and amenities one would expect from a bustling, industrial town (30 minutes drive).
The cultural and toursit centres of Perugia, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno and Cortona, just to give a few, are all within easy driving distance from the property, with Rome and Florence being easily accessed by the fantastic rail network that Italy has to offer. Nearest train station is Terontola, 30 mins drive, and is on the direct line from Rome to Florence.
The nearest golf course is on the outskirts of Perugia and is very welcoming to all. Day membership prices are reasonable and equiment hire is available.
