Facilities
Le Pressoir, La Chaumiere and Le Fournil (sleep 4 + 1); Double bedroom, twin bedroom, fold away bed or cot on request. Lounge with wood burning stove. Fitted kitchen with fridge, electric hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Dining area. Bathroom and overbath shower and WC. Electric convector heaters available on request. Le Pressoir and Le Fournil each have an attractive galleried mezzanine 2nd bedroom .
Each cottage has its own sitting out area with garden furniture, BBQ and private parking. Gate access to the towpath and river. Washing machine and dryer in the pool pump room.
Heated swimming pool with full terrace, loungers, alarm and security fence. The 3 acres of fenced grounds have colourful flowers and extensive areas of lawn.
Our heated swimming pool will be open from early May until the end of September and we keep the
temperature up, so it is nice and warm!
All bookings May – September begin on a FRIDAY. However, flexible start and finish days and short
breaks (minimum 3 nights) are available in the periods when the pool is closed.
· Electricity charge is all inclusive 26th May to 29th September.
· In the low season (i.e. before 26th May and after 29th September), the electricity charge is, where
possible, calculated according to meter reading and usage. This is usually deducted from the
refundable breakage deposit.
· Firewood is charged according to usage.
· Linen and towels are included all year round.
· Fold-away bed, suitable for children only, available with linen, duvet and pillows - £30.00 per week.
· Travel cot, high chair and stair gate available free of charge (please bring your own cot linen).
· A fully refundable breakage deposit of £150 is payable prior to your holiday and is usually returned
within two weeks from the end of your stay.

Local Area DetailsSmell the freshness of the air and soak up the sun by the pool with the glorious views of this peaceful wooded valley. These gorgeous 200 year old thatched cottages have an absolutely stunning setting and are so beautiful that you will find photos of them in French tourist literature in Brittany.
Local activities
Stroll or cycle along the scenic towpath beside the River Blavet and stop at one of the little bars, cafes or restaurants that are dotted every few kilometres along the way. The nearest is an authentic Breton family restaurant a 5 - 10 minute walk along the towpath. Sandy beaches 20-25 minutes by car. Carnac with its famous Megalithic stones and excellent beach is 40 minutes. The small town of Languidic with all facilities including a market day is about 5 minutes drive. Hennebont, a larger town with a great Thursday morning market, is about 10 minutes drive. There are 5 golf courses within 40 minutes. The river is popular for fishing and boat trips. Canoeing is available locally

WE ARE ONLINE 24 OURS PLEASE MAIL FOR QUESTIONS A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival. Rental periods begin and end on a Saturday during the Peak & High seasons but are flexible at all other times. ‘Indulgence Breaks’ are available in Mid and Low seasons (for details, see our Therapies & Treatments page). A refundable Security Deposit of £150 is required in case of damage/loss to the property or its contents. The sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client’s liability to the Owners. The Security Deposit must be paid with the balance. The Owners will account to the Client for the Security Deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks of the end of the rental period. If any damage/loss is incurred during the rental period, the Client will be invoiced accordingly. Rental periods begin and end on a Saturday during the Peak & High Periods but are flexible at all other times. The rental period shall commence from 16.00 on the date of arrival and shall finish at 10.00 (am) on the date of departure. This ensures adequate preparation time prior to each Client arrival. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the commencement time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the departure time stated. ACCOMMODATION The maximum number of persons to reside in the cottage must not exceed 8 unless the Owners have given written permission to the contrary. Gas and electricity are included in the rental charge for the cottage. During the months October to April inclusive, there is a supplement of £30 per week to cover heating expenses (radiators and wood burning stove) - refunds may be given during this period at the discretion of the Owners where considered appropriate. LINEN Quality bed linen, duvets, pillows, tea towels, hand and bath towels are provided. Please note that beach towels are NOT provided. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. NB. A departure cleaning service is available –please refer to the Booking Form. The Owners reserve the right to make a deduction from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs, if the Client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties. Clients are asked not to smoke inside the cottage and the Owners express their appreciation for co-operation with this request. |
