In Gargano National Park, in the middle of Adriatic coast, in Foggia (45 km far from) Province, with an amazing view of Manfredonia (8 Km far from) international harbour, towers on this enchanting guardian of the olive trees valley and of the sea. Manganaro (this is the name) leisure country house is one of the main heritage Gargano gave us like a witness of the last step of a variegated, rich history this area passed through. The apartments for rent are on ground floor, it is around 70 s.m.: a large kitchen with very modern appliances; a large dining room with a wonderful fireplace and sofa bed (sleeps 2), a modern bathroom and a lovely bedroom on the mezzanine;on first floor ,two bed rooms with ancient picture on the ceiling and papers on the wall,ancient forniture;on attic a charmount secluted terrace ,suitable for a couple in love,big double bed roomand rare tower- bathroom. Gargano's National Park safeguards a very rich, natural, cultural, religious and artistic inheritance. Gargano's nature is strong, wild and very varied: terraced fields, olive plantations, citrus orchards, rows of Aleppo, pines, the impenetrable cloak of Umbra forest, the lakes of Lesina and Varano inhabited by ducks, herons and cormorants, the steep white coast displays alternating large sandy shores, small bays, deep inlets, caves and marine cliffs. Mattinata, Peschici and Vieste , both on the sea, are international tourist towns. The house is 4 hours from Rome and 2,5 hours from Naples and Amalfi, Sorrento; 1,5 from Pescara and Bari airports (both Ryanair flights from London!); 25 minutes from San Giovanni Rotondo (PADRE PIO's town!); 15 minutes from Monte Sant’Angelo, Manfredonia and Mattinata.
