Rooms are a good size and there is an attractive open fireplace in the lounge plus a new fitted kitchen.

Local Area DetailsLocated midway along the southcoast, the heart of Albufeira is still a working fishing village as well as being the most popular Algarve resort. The greater area incorporates several adjoining suberbs set among low-lying hills and facing a succession of beautiful beaches. The main square of the old town is surrounded by cobbled streets with fishermen's houses and an antiquated stone tunnel leads to the beach where you will see colourful fishing boats. There are a total of seven beaches ranging from the busy sandy stretches in front of the old town to the more intimate little bays and coves to the east and west. Albufeira and Praia da Oura are the most central beaches and are wide, curved and sandy with good facilities including an abundance of water sports. In the old part of the town there are several churches to visit or you can watch fishermen unloading their catch at Praia dos Barcos. Vist Pau da Bandeira on the eastern side of Albufeira and take in the panoramic view of the whole town. Back in the town centre, criss-crossed with a maze of cobbled streets there are many cafes, bars and restaurants to visit and good shopping including handicrafts and ceramics. Restaurants are plentiful and varied and there is also an extremely wide choice of nightlife. Journey time from Faro approx 30 minutes (35kms).
