Property Details
Our traditional Italian home is set in the foothills of the Apennines, surrounded by chestnut forests and olive groves. There are breathtaking views from the house and garden, and wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside. The apartment consists of a comfortably sized bedroom with a double bed; bathroom with shower, bidet and washing machine; sitting/dining room, and kitchen with cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. It opens onto a large private terrace with furniture for outdoor dining, with steps down to an enclosed garden, for the exclusive use of visitors. The gas fired boiler for hot water and central heating is in the kitchen.
Local Area DetailsThis is the perfect location from which to explore the delights of Italy. Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Parma and the Ligurian coast are within easy reach for a day trip by car or train, whilst nearer to home sunlit hilltop villages offer the less grand but no less enjoyable delights of country cooking and home-made wine. The local railway station (with plenty of free parking) offers an excellent service to Lucca and beyond, or to the five ports of the 'Cinque Terre', the coast and Genoa. The mountains with their ski slopes can be accessed in less than an hour.
