Via San Niccolò is at the foot of Porta Belvedere and of the ancient medieval walls which lead to Forte Belvedere. In Via San Niccolò you can still see the ancient 14th and 15th Century houses still with the coat-of-arms of the old owners. This delightful studio is part of what used to be the ancient tower of Quaratesi. It is very near Ponte Vecchio, the Church and Square of Santa Croce. It certainly offers the opportunity of visiting Florence exclusively.
Local Area Details7km from the airport Amerigo Vespucci, Florence. I offer to pick guests up from either the airport or the railway station with my car and take them to the apartment (maximum 4 people). If you would like to take a taxi, it takes about 15 minutes.
Distances
Florence is a small city and can easily be explored on foot. The bus service is also efficient and there is a bus stop at about 2 minutes walk from the flat. If you are coming by car and you would like to park it in Florence, garages are very expensive. I can offer you a free private parking place for your car at about 500m distance
San Niccolò is 1 of the oldest neighbourhoods of Florence. It is not far from the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio is 5 minutes walk.
You can find many restaurants and typical trattorias nearby. Also shops for food and typical italian handcraft. We can provide reservations for the Uffuzzi Museum.
