Local Area Details

Nerja lies at the foot of the mountains at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, just 45 minutes from Malaga. Airport, along the new main highway. Nerja’s centrepiece is the Balcon de Europa, a palm promenade with superb views of the coastline. There are no modern high rise developments to mar Nerja’s character. Within the town itself, there is a handful of small sandy coves and the main Burriana Beach is only 5 min walk from the bungalow (excellent sea view from bungalow roof terrace). The town centre is only 15/20 minutes walk away and there are a large variety of lovely restaurants and bars (including Tapas Bars).
