The Villa Maria Letizia aristocratic home of the Contessa de Franceschini in San Remo Liguria,is situated in tropical parkland enveloped between two classical 5 star hotels of Sanremo. A path leads through the park to the beach below. There is a panoramic view of the bay from the villa,which is surrounded by bird song, even though only 5 minutes walk to the central casino and main shopping area of Sanremo, Liguria. The apartment has recently been refurbished and has all the comforts combined with selected antique furniture. The two bedrooms(one with balcony)both have sea views. The large terrace which is filled with tropical flowers overlooks the bay and is ideal both for sun bathing and candlelit dinners.
Local Area DetailsSanremo, Liguria is renowned for its entertainment. The music festival is in Febuary, the International Firework Festival in July, the historic car rally in March etc. The summer season features live entertainment every night with live bands, fashion shows, open theatre and concerts. Sanremo has its own casino but is 15 minutes drive to Montecarlo making it ideal for visits to the Casino or for the Grand Prix.The South of France and its amenties are 20 minutes by car. The town has unrivalled shopping facilities,especially its twice weekly market. Contrastingly its surrounding mountains offer winter skiing only an hour distant at Limone Piemonte. The coast of Liguria offers whale and dolphin watching by boat and beautiful sandy beaches for lovers of the sun and water activities. The surrounding mountains allow nature lovers to follow the ancient olive tracks and explore the hidden villages, once a centre of medieval whitch hunting. The villages offer unspoilt medieval architecture surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Summer visitors can swim in rocky mountain pools and walk the nature trails surrounded by butterflies. Golf Information The Sanremo Golf Course is ten minutes drive from the flat. It has 18 holes, the greens are found in a beautiful mountain scenery. The course has its own bar, restaurant and congresss centre. The course is used by many international champions and it is one of the very few golf courses in northern Italy that is open throughout the year.

| Cleaning fee € 25 per person. DON'T FORGET THAT THERE ARE VERY CHEAP FARES TO GENOA THROUGHOUT THE WINTER!!! Arrival and departure days are Saturdays. In the case of a late cancellation (last 21 days prior to arrival) the full rental rate is applicable. There is a cautionary deposit of £500 in the form of a cheque which is returned on leaving. In the winter months heating is charged by meter consumption. |
