Balaia Golf Village is one of the Algarve's best-kept secrets and lies between Olhos d'Agua and Albufeira. The resort is less than 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and offers easy access to all of the Algarve’s facilities, including fabulous local beaches and all of the major golf courses.The low-level layout of the resort includes extensive well-maintained gardens, mature trees, and plenty of areas for both sun worshippers and those seeking some shade. In short there is something for everyone. Peace and quiet for those that want it; golf, tennis and a choice of swimming pools for those who want to be more active. And most of all space. Space so that you can relax by a swimming pool and then amble down to the beautiful nearby beach.
We have a spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment available for rent throughout the year. Situated on the southern side of the complex, the apartment is close to all the amenities of the village including the swimming pools, restaurant, health club, gym, tennis courts and reception area. The two bedrooms are both fitted with ample drawer and wardrobe space with the main bedroom having en-suite bath and shower facilities. In the lounge/dining area there is a TV with English (includes main terrestrial, Sky and Sky sports), German, French and Portuguese channels and a double sofa bed allowing up to six people to share the apartment. The apartment has a patio area for outdoor dining, which provides a sunny dining area in the morning and at lunchtime, together with welcome cover from the sun later in the day.
These are amongst the newest apartments on the resort and come complete with electric hob and oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. In addition the apartment also has a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility area.
There are six outdoor swimming pools on site all with children’s areas. Three of the pools have covered bar areas where food and drinks are available throughout the day. The “A Veranda� restaurant hosts various buffet evenings, alongside its excellent “a la carte� menu. The restaurant looks out onto the main pool, which has a heated children’s pool. Further dining facilities are available on site at the Golf clubhouse, which offers both lunchtime and evening menu’s, together with snacks/coffee/drinks overlooking the first tee of the golf course.

Local Area Details

There is a beautiful nearby beach - Maria Luisa. This is our favourite beach because of its beautiful sands and because, even during the busiest months, it is never too crowded. The restaurant on the beach - Julia’s - serves good local fish, various other local dishes and standard children’s fare. Additionally, it dispenses endless cups of coffee and ice creams.





There is a second beach about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away- Sta Eulalia - which is equally beautiful. This beach tends to get very busy at the height of the summer, but is great for all other months. There is a very nice restaurant just set back from the beach, which is excellent for outdoor evening dining. The snack bar area serves good food throughout the day and has an excellent selection of ice creams for the children!!
