Property Details

This property is situated on the edge of Regusse in 4000m2 of land. The house has a long drive and sits amongst the rocks with forest behind. The garden is at the front, with the forest at the back. You can reach the house up the rock stairs or for easier access, go around the back where parking is level with the front door.

The house is brightly decorated and has the advantage of a covered terrace which gives views towards the village.

The swimming pool is approximately 8m x 4m and is enclosed by security fencing. There is also a small rustic pool house for changing in and an outside shower next to the pool.


Accommodation
Kitchen: Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Fridge/Freezer, coffee maker.

Dining areas: You have a choice of dining areas, either inside, which has a dining table and seating for 8 people, or on the covered terrace just outside the kitchen. From here you have a clear view of the village and can watch the sun setting while you enjoy a glass of wine. There is also an outside barbecue and a “baby foot� table.

Sitting room: Seating for 8 around an open fire that also heats 3 radiators.

Bedrooms: Two are on the same level one with a double bed and the second with twin beds that form a double. Up stairs, there is a small bedroom with bunk beds and a mezzanine with a further two single beds. Ajoining this is a shower room.

Bathroom: Double sinks with Corner bath and toilet.

Outside: There is an 8m x 4m pool that is set into the terrace next to the house. The property is set in 4000m2 of land and is approached by a long drive going to the back of the house, where there is plenty of parking.

Local Area Details

Regusse is situated in the Parc Natural Regional du Verdon. It is 9km from Aups; a 15-20 min. drive from the Lac St. Croix and Gorges du Verdon and approximately 1.5 hours drive from Nice and Marseile airports. The village has a number of small shops including a butcher, baker, small supermarket, hairdresser, flower and gift shop, plus a library with Internet access. There are also two restaurants in the centre of the village. Le Rejussia is open lunchtimes and evenings all year around, for great pizzas and generous salads, plus has a home delivery services. The Bonne Maman is a more traditional restaurant and mainly opens for lunch and serves a good “plat du jour" at a very reasonable price.

Also in the village there is a small market on Sunday mornings. This is just a few stalls out of season, but in July and August this expands considerably. There is always a roast chicken, vegetable and cheese stalls, so if you are arriving late on Saturday night, there is always something available for Sunday if you do not feel like dining out. Wednesday and Saturday are the market days in the nearby town of Aups which offer a larger choice, plus from November to March, there is also a truffle market on Thursday mornings in Aups.

Regusse also has two municipal swimming pools, one being a childrens' pool, there is also a snack bar attached to the pool, for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. There are also tennis courts available to use. The pool is open in July and August, but the tennis courts can be used all year round.

About 1km outside the village is a campside and in the summer months there are two more restaurants, plus many activities that can be used by non-residents of the site.
