Downstairs there is a large sitting room with formal dining table with a separate kitchen/diner next door. There is a TV and video in the living room, with a video library available to borrow from.
Chestnut cottage has a wood-burning fire in the living room area, fitted kitchen with gas cooker and fridge with a small freezer compartment and bed linen and towels supplied. There is a CD music system downstairs if you want to bring CDs with you. All fuel costs are included.
Children can safely play in the fully-enclosed 1-acre grounds, including swings, sandpit and children’s splash pool. There is also a patio and BBQ area at the back of the cottage.

Local Area DetailsLocated on the doorstep of the Blavet River, Lac Guarledan, Lac Belair and the Nantes-Brest waterway, where you can go fishing, or walk or cycle along the many miles of country lanes and river paths. If you are feeling really energetic you could even cycle part of the Tour De France route at nearby Plouay!
There are also several small lakes within 15 miles (25km) with small sandy beaches and facilities for fishing, sailing and windsailing. The long golden sands of Erdeven and surfing at Guidel are also with easy reach (40 miles, 65km).
Nearby are the historic Chateaux town of Pontivy, the ancient stones at Carnac, a beautiful church at Kernascladen and the castle and forest at Pont Calleck, as well as a local theme park – ideal for adults and children alike. All of this, and many more things to see and do. Or just relax in the secluded surroundings and do nothing at all!

A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival.A refundable security deposit(dependent on owner's request) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents (unless otherwise stipulated). This is payable with the balance.The rental period shall commence at 4pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed the number stated unless the Owner has given prior permission. If this rule is broken, the Owner retains the right to either ask for financial compensation for the extra capacity, or indeed to cancel the remainder of the holiday without recompense to the Client. This is due to strict insurance clauses here in France. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, as you should find it on your arrival. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to any residents in any neighbouring properties. The Client shall report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. bedlinnen is all included.
