Villa in Lucca Area, Tuscany, Italy: Lovely old house that has been internally restored maintaining the old Tuscany style and that is situated in the outer part of the small town of Camaiore (all kinds of shops and weekly market). The property is completely enclosed and includes a nice lawn with parking (2 - 3 cars) in front of the house as well as behind with a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape.

The raised pool ( very safe for childrens ) and the large enclosed garden make Villa Delfo a particular property because it is near the center and at the same time is in a position very quiet; the swimming pool has an outdoor changing room and ' hot and cold' shower.
The garden has a barbecue, a gazebo and all the equipment necessary to eat in the open , surrounded by nature.

Camaiore is a nice little town of Versilia area - here you can find all services, qualified shops (with local food and wine specialities), many pizzerias and restaurants with traditional Tuscany cooking. His history is very old and interesting. From here you can reach very interesting destinations such as Lucca (30 min. by car), Pisa (30min.), Firenze (90 min.), Carrara and Marble Quarries (45 min.),Viareggio and the beaches of Versilia (10 min), Cinque Terre (60 min.), Siena and his lands (120 min.); all those places have their particular history and several monuments and museums to see.
Moreover, the Versilia area offers in a little territory, a very interesting whole of different small cities and mountain villages easy to reach by car in a few minutes and a natural park where you can find the characteristic flora and the fauna of our geographic area. Panoramas, nature, history, good foods and wines: all at your disposal for an enjoyable holiday.

Local Area Details

Go into details: The house is very comfortable and the guests are at one’s ease. The round area is very wide: the children can play without dangers, the adults can rest, sleep or read sitting in the shade and every now and then, look round to enjoy the view on the surrounding mountains. A few steps on foot (400 metre.)…….and the guests arrive in the historic centre. Here they found many “pizzeria� not expensive and a very good restaurants with home and traditional cooking. . The wine shop “Angeli� is provided with excellent wines of all kinds(Chianti – Montalcino – Montecarlo, Sassicaia) and local production. In the central road there is the delicatessen shop �Bonuccelli� with first-rate hams, cheese, and meats oneself made. For sweet and ice-cream lovers we suggest “Pasticceria da Rossano� “Pasticceria Sul Prado� “Gelateria Peter Pan� and "Gelateria Mondo Goloso". In the town there is also Supermarket “CONAD� very well furnished, and on Friday the guests can go to the weekly market.

Attractions: Set among the grand setting of APUANE ALPS PARK, the “empty mountain� holds the secrets of 5 million years of geological history. Inside her, 60 km. of tunnels and shafts, 1200 mt. maximum difference in height, a system of Karst ducts developed in 2 cubic km. of rock, make MOUNT CORCHIA's cave the must imposing underground whole in Italy and one of the biggest in the world.

Golf Information Close to Camaiore, 15 km., you can find one golf club (Versilia Golf Club) with a beautiful field from 18 holes inserted in a stunning landscape. The Club offers several possibilities of game and in the Club House you can found a good restaurant , recently renewed. Skiing Information Camaiore is near the two most important ski areas in Tuscany, Abetone and Cerreto Laghi. The first ski resort has a large number of runs of all level and have a link with the ski area of Monte Cimone; together forms the most important ski resort in the Central Italy. The second ski resort have a little number of runs (of all level) but have a modern indoor ice stadium for ice-skating. From Camaiore you can reach the two resorts in the same time by car, about 90 min.-

Excellent holiday had by all amenities very good. Pictures of the garden do not do the size justice. Excellent for children as it is all fenced off and them cannot get out. Area is nice and quiet. It is a good location for the major sites of Pisa, Florence and Lucca. Thank you for your hospitality and a great holiday.

We’ve had a wonderful week in Camaiore. We found Franco e Vera friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. The villa was easy to find from the directions on the web site and Franco and Vera made us feel very welcome. The villa is an absolute delight, with the first - class facilities. The raised pool and fenced garden is a real bonus with young children. Camaiore is a great base to explore Pisa, Lucca, and Florence and we’d highly recommend a trip to 5 Terre. We had a wonderful day out there. We’ll be recommending Villa Delfo to others!

A wonderful holiday in a wonderful setting. The villa has excellent facilities and the swimming pool is fantastic. The description of the mountain views do not do them justice – waking up to the mountain views is breathtaking. Vera and Franco have been kind and helpful – the perfect hosts. The location is ideal - easy to get to and with sea, mountains, and major sights of Tuscany within easy access. The villa has plenty of space and has been ideal for us, two families with young children. Villa Mazzoni “Delfo� is the perfect holiday destination!
