lakefront lot and is located close to everything from shopping,
dining, skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting…the list
goes on and on! Special Memories is wrapped in cedar siding and
features a huge deck, lower level walkout basement with full bar, 2-
sided fireplace, and pool table. You’ll also enjoy the hot tub, the
large private yard with horseshoes and volley ball, private dock
with sliding board, and docking for the boat you bring or the one
you rent here! The home has 5 bedrooms along with a large loft and
can accommodate 16 guests, a master suite with a private balcony, 3
full and 1 half baths, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful living room
with high wood beam cathedral ceilings and fireplace, and has 7
TV’s, all with DVD/VCR players including a big screen, plus 3
stereos.

Local Area Details

When you’re here, enjoy it all. Special Memories borders Deep Creek
Lake State Park, which includes approximately 1 mile of shoreline on
this, Maryland's largest lake. Access is available for fishing,
swimming, and boat launching. The boat launch facility, which is
located less than a quarter mile from the home, is open most of the
year except when winter weather or ice conditions prohibit access.
Fishing is generally good on the lake with stocked trout, walleye,
bass, and yellow perch being the most abundant. Hunting is permitted
in the park's backcountry areas during regular hunting seasons. The
hunting areas are posted and applicable regulations including
license requirements apply. Meadow Mountain offers opportunities for
hiking. Trail difficulties range from moderate to difficult. Year-
round opportunities exist for mountain biking, cross country skiing
& snowmobiling. The Discovery Center is open 7 days a week, year-
round. Interpretive programs, consisting of evening campfire
programs, and talks and hikes on the natural and cultural resources
of the park, are led by ranger naturalists and are available at
various times throughout the year.

Also enjoy downhill skiing at the Wisp Ski Resort and Golf Course,
great night life, hiking, biking, hunting, ice fishing, Swallow
Falls State Park (Maryland's largest waterfall) Auntumn Glory, ect.
