Luxury lodge with lake view situated in South Lakeland Leisure Village, a prestigious new developement in the South Lake District.
Situated within the Leisure Village is Waters Edge restaurant, Cafe Lago Tapas bar and Pure Leisure leisure centre, including swimming pool, steam room and gymnasium. Entrance to the Leisure centre and use of these facilities is included for guests of South Lakes Lodges. Beauty treatments and massages are also available in the Leisure Centre.
Accomodation consists of fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area with t.v including freeview, video, dvd and music centre, en-suite double bedroom, twin room and serperate bathroom. PLEASE NOTE we can change the twin beds into bunk beds and put an extra bed or travel cot in the twin room. This is suitable for 2 adults and 3 children but not for 5 adults.
Local Area DetailsThe Leisure Village has been developed with conservation very much to the fore, with ever increasing wildlife in evidence. There are numerous lovely walks in the immediate vicinity and towns and villages, including Arnside, Silverdale, Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal nearby. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach, as is the market town of Lancaster and the seaside resorts of Morecambe and Blackpool. Golf courses in the area include Morecambe, Heysham, Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale. All welcome visitors and all have fabulous views.
Non-motorised water sport and fishing is allowed on the lake within the leisure village. Discounts have been arranged on the adjoining lake, which is within easy walking distance of the lodge, for water skiing etc.
The RSPB nature reserve at Leighton Moss is a short drive away, as is Leighton Hall, home of the Gillow furniture makers, which is open to the public and has an impressive collection of antique furniture, including many pieces by Gillow. Birds of prey are also flown regulaly here.

| Christmas and New Year weeks are £895. Weekend/part week rates available on request. Prices include gas and electricity. Towels and bedding are provided. A welcome pack including tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls etc is provided. Well behaved pets are welcome at an extra cost of £30 per week. Entrance to "Pure Leisure" leisure centre and use of the swimming pool, steam room and gym is also included.ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE The lodge will be available from 4pm on your day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on your day of departure unless otherwise agreed. |
